1 Describe The McVitie
1 Describe the McVitie’s product range. Outline the range of their different products( See website for details of their current products)

McVite’s have a great product range which they sell different type and different taste of products and they are :
Jaffa Cakes
Digestives
Medley
Hobnobs
Mcvities Breakfast biscuits
Rich tea

These products are mainly sweet product and its mainly on teenager and other people.

2 Describe the specific product features of 4 different Mc Vitae’s products (type of biscuit, ingredients, quality, name etc) and identify any unique selling points that they have. Explain who the target market is for each product.

Jaffa Cakes – They are the main product and have the highest selling point, they have a cake which have chocolate on the top. Which also have orange flavour as well, they product different packs of them which allows people to choose and depends on is it easy to carry or not.

Digestive – They are the second biggest product for the Mc Vitae’ company, they have wheaty taste and distinctive size make it the undisputed king of biscuits. This product Is mainly forcing on older people because it’s not that sweet. They also have different flavours so it’s a wide range of choice.

McVities breakfast biscuits- this is a type of biscuit that is often bought by parents, Because parents eat breakfast, sometimes they are busy at their work, so everyday morning they have this biscuit to put off their stress. This is seen as a reasonably high quality product due to how often it’s been around and its successful company growth throughout the years as well as having a wide range of high quality treats that everybody loves. The unique selling point for this product is the ‘123 health balance’ initiative as no other company has that and every women wants to eat biscuits and feel like she is staying healthy at the same time so it is very effective.
