Lloyd- King of Hearts
The self-proclaimed “King” prepares for his album release this week, but it hasn’t necessarily been an easy road to get here. Lloyd, the Atlanta-born R&B singer, split with his label the Inc. (formerly known as Murda Inc.) in 2009 after citing creative differences. That year he had a catchy hook in the wildly successful single, Bed Rock, and even reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. You can see the video HERE. In March 2010, Lloyd decided to jump on board with Polow Da Don’s label, Zone 4. As a longtime friend of Lloyd’s and a super-producer in the industry, Polow promised his full dedication to the project. According to Billboard.com, the album “brings Lloyd’s voice to life like never before.” The album totes an impressive lineup of collaborations including: Trey Songz, Young Jeezy, Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, R. Kelly, and Keri Hilson. The album tracklist is as follows:
1. Angel
2. Bang!!!
3. Be The One
