The Mississippi quintet, 3 Doors Down, releases their fifth studio album this week. The long awaited “Time of My Life” album from Universal Republic records is set to drop on July 19th, 2011. Their new album will be the first since their booming success in 2008. 3 Doors Down is best known for modern-rock songs like “Here Without You,” and “Kryptonite.” Lead vocalist and songwriter Brad Arnold explains that, while the band has enjoyed past success and is very thankful, the record “shows some growth on [their] part” and that “there’s always room to…take it up to another level.” The album’s first single, “When You’re Young” can be seen HERE from the 3 Doors Down VEVO YouTube channel. While the first single,“When You’re Young,” is considered a mid-tempo, slower track, Arnold assures fans that the album has some powerful rock songs. In an article on Billboard.com Arnold says that they want the album to take the fans on a musical ride, and are looking forward to the fans enjoying the album as a whole.
