There is an operation system that supports 5,000 users, and the company only wants to allow 4,990 users permission to access one file. In order to have a protection scheme in UNIX, a number of operations need to be performed first in order for this to work. UNIX file management hierarchy is very essential to know in order to understand and devise a plan that will allow this protection scheme to protect the files. Without knowledge of the hierarchy of the file management system within the UNIX operating system, there is no way that the 4,990 will have access to only one file.…

dfg: Labeling theory is based on the idea that behaviors are deviant only when society labels them as deviant. As such, conforming members of society, who interpret certain behaviors as deviant and then attach this label to individuals, determine the distinction between deviance and non-deviance. Labeling theory questions who applies what label to whom, why they do this, and what happens as a result of this labeling. Powerful individuals within society (politicians, judges, police officers, etc.) typically impose the most significant labels. Labeled persons may include drug addicts, alcoholics, criminals, delinquents, prostitutes, sex offenders, and psychiatric patients, to mention a few. The consequences of being labeled as deviant can be far-reaching. Social research indicates that those who have negative labels usually have lower self-images, are more likely to reject themselves, and may even act more deviantly as a result of the label. Unfortunately, people who accept the labeling of others—be it correct or incorrect—have a difficult time changing their opinions of the labeled person, even in light of evidence to the contrary.…

I am Hyunsu Jang, a proud Korean-American, who just turned 12 on August 5th. I am the type of person who is not so strong towards history and English. Instead, math and science make up for the disadvantage. I love math and science because it comes natural for me to understand all the concepts. Whenever I strive in a certain subject or activity, I enjoy it more. According to my philosophy, one is better at a certain action or role when they enjoy it, so it is easy for me to comprehend mathematical and scientific concepts. On the other hand, the only thing I enjoy about core academics is writing. It is one of the main things I do when there is nothing else for me to do. I especially love writing poems because they allow me to express my feelings and entertain people. That brings me to the fact that I also find happiness from humoring others and watching them enjoy my comedy. When it comes to sports, I like basketball, soccer, and swimming. I used to do Tae-Kwon-Do, but I stopped because of the time that I severely injured my ankle. I never had the guts to try restarting ever since. What I don't like is when people misinterpret my purpose or intentions of my actions and start to talk behind my back about it. It's not fair if you are blamed for something you didn't really do. Since I am not much of a fan of pessimism, I'll leave my dislikes at that. In my family, there are 5 people: my mom, my dad, older sister, younger sister, and me. In addition, I have 6 aquatic members as well: 1 goldfish, 4 guppies, and a golden platy. I have many friends as well, but just to name a few of them, there are Tommy Nguyen and Dooie Doh. I have known Tommy Nguyen ever since 2nd grade. I admire his personality because he has brilliant advice about general life and he always tries hard. If he was stranded on an island, I bet he could resist and survive for a long, long time. In one word, he is simply amazing. Then, there's Dooie Doh. I can't even describe his unique…

This report is about ZARA which is a global brand of clothing owned by the Inditex Group. It is the world's third-clothing retailer, one of the world's four major fashion chain (the other three are the United States of casual fashion giant GAP, the Swedish fashion giant H & M, German parity giant clothing chain C & A), has more than 2,000 stores in 70 countries around the world. It was established in 1975 by Spanish fashion designer and tycoon Amancio Ortega. The first store opened in Galicia, Spain, where it is now headquartered. The company is very unusual in the fashion retail world and incorporates many pioneering concepts. The company takes just two weeks to get its products on its store shelves after designing them, compared with six months for its competitors. It does not advertise, preferring instead to use money on opening new stores. Zara also owns and controls every stage of production from design, manufacture, supply and sales. A Louis Vuitton spokesperson described it as “possibly the most innovative and devastating retailer in the world”. (Baidu.com 22, June, 2012)…
