Question: How Does a HR Manager Assist an Employee with a Career Change?
Answers: There are 3 ways in which a HR Manager assists employees with career changes and they are as follows:

Information Resource - Providing information to employees is another essential responsibility of human resources managers. For example, if a worker's direct supervisor cannot answer a question regarding employment matters, the question is often referred to the human resources department. Human resources managers provide information regarding employee benefits, leave of absence, employee assistance programs and worker's compensation benefits. If an employee needs personal assistance, human resources managers provide confidential guidance. Training and Development - Helping workers with training and development is another responsibility of human resource managers. They organize training programs and determine the appropriate delivery method to introduce training material based on workers' needs. Human resource managers are an asset employees may utilize to improve their sales or customer service skills. Human resources regularly provides training opportunities employees can take advantage of to gain additional experience. Further, human resources managers help workers develop a career track to pursue future opportunities. Align Employees Requested Career Change with Organizational Goals - Helping employees with a career change is not always easy and can sometimes have a opposite effect. If the employees career change does not align with the organizational goals of the company the employee may be forced to apply for jobs outside of the organization. The great thing about this is that the employee can always utilize the references and letters of recommendation from this organization to aid in future employment elsewhere. This action should be planned accordingly, while keeping the supervisor or manager abreast of the
