Statistical Process Control Assigment
Task1:
Describe two basic types of inspection used in sampling for process control and explain two processes at your company that could benefits from each type of inspection. In you answer gives the example of variation expected from that process.
Answer 1-
There are two types of data inspection which are below: 1. Variable or continuous scale 2. Attribute or discrete scale

1. Variable or continuous data inspection:
The variable data inspection is the type of inspection which varies time to time and it is the scale of measurement for any process used in different industrial process as well as in our daily life.
In variable data inspection there is not breakup between the process. Which means the variable data scale always vary with the time.
Examples:
Temperature, distance, Analogue signal, Acceleration, Velocity, Weight etc.
Explanation:
1- As we know that the analogue signal always varies the values from zero to its maximum values with the different periods of time. Analogue signal start from zero value and its goes to high peak and then after that its values become low which goes to minimum to zero. This example shows that this type of inspection is always continuous with time. But we should be remembering that in variable data inspection the value always was remaining continues.

2- In another example suppose a cooking oil company selling the different type of oil drums into market. Then we differentiate all these drums in local shop by checking their size , weight, volume, shapes, capacity.

2. Attribute data inspection:
In is scale of measurement in any process which should not be vary or continue. The attribute data inspection scale is measured by checking their quality. For example pour quality, bad , accept, and good , yes or not.
Examples:
1- For example we want to buy a motorbike in showroom. So then we do not need to look its engine power or its speed and other features. Just we will be choosing that looks good

Historical statistical data is generally used for studies (Cooper & Schindler, 2014). Physical condition analysis consists of audits of merchandise, inventory conditions are analyzed, examines plant safety compliance, and examination of financial statements (Cooper & Schindler, 2014).Physical process analysis refers to the study of manufacturing processes and the examination of distribution system traffic…

careful preparation, exceptional test-taking skills, a bit of luck or some combination, 9,394 of these people—or 63%—passed. The year before, the percentage was similar: Of 14,422 people who took certification exams, 9,431 passed (65%). The 2009 success rate as of October was also in that neighborhood, with 6,570 passing out of 9,928 test-takers, or 66%. For a little more perspective, Figure 1 offers a look at the pass rates for ASQ’s 14 certifications. To ensure certifications remain relevant and up to date, ASQ revises each body of knowledge (BoK) every five years. Therefore, the pass rate for each certification in Figure 1 is based on data accumulated since the BoK was last revised. So how can you avoid being one of the certification exam takers who will not pass this year?…
