Background

Introduction

Southern Achievers Enterprise (SAE) is currently accepting proposals to establish a new data centre which would involve the network design, procure, install, test and commission IT hardware and related infrastructure. The new data centre is targeted for development and launching in February 2014. Due to the current information technology support services offered by SAE, a large number of requests have been received from existing customers to establish additional data centre services. SAE has identified a suitable location for the establishment of such a data centre.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from various candidate organizations that best represent the objectives which SAE aims to achieve. On receipt of the proposals, SAE will conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the most suitable candidate.
