Titanic is a 1997 American epic romantic disaster film directed, written, co-produced, co-edited and partly financed by James Cameron. A fictionalized account of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage.
Titanic is also three stories at once. The story of Brock Lovett (Bill Paxton) searching for the lost diamond that Rose Bukater (Kate Winslet) wore back in 1912. It's also the story, being told in flashback, regarding two lovers torn because of class destinction and a jealous fiancee who wants nothing but to win. It also chronicles the sinking of the Titanic, which is wonderfully portrayed through amazing special effects.
In the story, a penniless artist (Leonardo Di caprio) falls in love with a high born rich girl (Kate Winslet). She is unhappily engaged to a snob (billyzane) and has a strict mother. They are all passengers on the famously huge but ill – fated ocean liner Titanic. The film also has a modern day pieces, Rose, now 100 years old, telling her storyto a sleasy treasure hunter who is looking on titanic for a fabously expensive jewel that Rose once woreon the ship.
Titanic tells the story of love, disaster and survivour. James Cameron made a great work joining an excellent cast with Leonardo DI Caprio and Kate Winslet at head. It became a masterpiece thanks to the casting, special effects and the group as a whole. In my opinion Titanic is THE movie of the century, with a wonderful script, the detailed locationand the

As for the captain, all he wanted to do was retire and he probably gave up on trying to be a good captain. Last the social class structure. If this wasn’t even in existence, once again it would have saved more lives would have been saved, a lot more. As for the RMS Titanic itself, it truly was a wondrous ship, with the 16 waterproof compartments that didn’t work all due to the fault of the White Star…

No one can feel their body, it has only been ten minutes but people around Rose are already dying. The movie, Titanic, is based on historical stories 50 years prior. White Star Line, the contractors for the creation of the Titanic, and many others, believed that the ship was unsinkable. Therefore, no one would get on the lifeboats. Although, today's forensic science proves many flaws that the ship held. The Titanic is the most influential American film because it illustrates a profound look into history, uses engineering to recreate the historical event, and demonstrates how to live life.…

“Titanic” is one of the most famous films in the world, which is based on a real shipwreck mixed with fiction. About 2 years ago, My girlfriend and I saw the film and discussed the facticity of the film. Both of us thought that the film was a historical true story, because everything was perfect matched in the film and we could not find any mistakes in it. Nevertheless, what surprised me was that a research in Duke University found that there was a great deal of historical inaccuracies in the “Titanic” such as First Officer William Murdoch did not commit suicide on the ship, and he was believed to have…

Titanic is about a 100-year-old woman who was named Rose DeWitt Bukator tells the story to her granddaughter Lizzy Calvert on the Keldysh about her life set in April 10th 1912, on a ship called Titanic. The plot involves a love affair between a penniless artist, Jack Dawson, and the fiancée of a rich aristocrat, Rose DeWitt Bukater. Who even though the both didn’t have much in common when it came to possessions. They were both humble people who truly fall in love with one another. Basically the moral of the story seems to be that the rich people were stuck up and greedy, while there was some stereotype in this movie when it came to possessions. Back then people were either considered rich or poor. I think that movies like “Titanic” having…
