Pertamina President Director, Widya Purnama said ready to resign if the move was seen as responsible for the smuggling of fuel elements involving Pertamina.

' 'You can blame Pertamina, but do not make Pertamina as a scapegoat. I am ready to resign if it was a form of accountability, ' 'he said answering a journalist, after called by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), Friday, 9 September 2005 in
Jakarta. 1
Widya Purnama, with other directors including Mustiko Saleh, the Deputy Director,
Hari Kustoro, the Upstream Director, Suroso, the Managing Director, Ari Soemarno, the Marketing and Commercial Director, and Suprijanto the General and Mineral
Resources Director summoned to office of President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang
Yudhoyono to account for the involvement of Pertamina officials in smuggling case fuel in Lawe-lawe. In the meeting, the President is accompanied by Minister of
Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro and Cabinet Secretary Sudi
Silalahi.

PT PERTAMINA (Persero)
PERTAMINA is a State Owned oil & gas company (National Oil Company), established on December 10, 1957 under the name PT PERMINA. In 1961 the company changed its name to PN PERMINA and after the merger with PN
PERTAMIN in 1968 it became PN PERTAMINA. With the enactment of Law 8 of
1971 the company became PERTAMINA. This name persisted until after
