Cardiorespiratory Fitness Being able to exercise at a moderate to high intensity for a long period of time Walk 2 miles at a brisk pace every day. Reduced the risk of heart disease, hypertension, and high cholesterol.
The amount of force exerted by a single or group of muscles.
Lifting small weights or gallon water jugs in repetition a few times a week. Improves coordination and improves body’s muscular strength.(Makes a person stronger)
Muscular Endurance High intensity muscle performance without fatiguing.
Exercising every other day or biweekly. Examples like racquetball, tennis or basketball. Reduces risks of depression through exercise, strengthens bones and increases muscular fitness.
Flexibility Being able to move joints through their full range of motions.
Simple stretching daily or taking a yoga workout class at home or the gym. Keeps muscles leans and improves balance. Could also possibly decrease pain and swelling of arthritis.
Body Composition The evenly distribution of fats mass and nonfat mass throughout the body.
Exercise ensures that the body’s fat levels stay low but also eating healthy and drinking plenty of water helps also. A healthy weight and size is obtainable which in return could mean a longer healthier life span [continues]
