I. Introduction
a. You’re sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic already late for god knows what, the over bearing smell of car exhaust is literally killing you and overall you feel trapped. Not to mention you’re a little overweight and all you want is Jimmy Johns. You then look out your window and what do you see? You see a human riding their bike through the traffic and their going faster then you could even imagine. Don’t you wish you could be that person on the bike and escape this traffic jam? Well you CAN!
b. Even on campus, I bet you’ve all noticed those kids that ride their bikes to class. They get to class on time and a lot faster. At some point in your life, you’ve probably have chosen your bike to get somewhere like school or a friends house.
c. I for one try to walk or use my bike as transportation at any time I can. It makes me feel better about myself when I avoid cars and I’ll tell you why
d. Riding a bike instead of driving is better for the environment, your wallet, and your health.
e. During this time I will first discuss with you about how avoiding the use of cars won’t pollute our environment. I will then secondly talk about how switching to a bike will save you money. Finally I will end this with the benefits of riding a bike has on your health.

Transition: To begin, let’s ride right into why driving is harmful to our environment. Grant Peterson even said, “Think of bicycles as rideable art that can just about save the world.”

II. 1st Argument
