About the company-: The Reliance Group, founded by Dhirubhai H. Ambani , is India's largest private sector enterprise with businesses in petrochemicals, refining, oil& gas. Other divisions of the company include cloth and retail business. The company was founded by well known Industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani. Reliance is known globally , as It is the largest polyester yarn and fibre producer in the world and among the top five to ten producers in the world in major petrochemical products. Major companies of the group are Reliance industrial infrastructure, Reliance retail that includes brands like Reliance retail, Reliance foot print, Reliance wellness, Reliance mart, Reliance iStore, Reliance home kitchens, Reliance jewel, Reliance auto zone, Reliance trends & Reliance market(cash&carry).

ABOUT RELIANCE FRESH-: Reliance Fresh is the convenience store format which forms part of the retail business of Reliance Industries of India which is headed by Mukesh Ambani. The company plans to invest 250 billion rupees in next four years . The company already has 453 Reliance Fresh outlets across the country. These stores sell fresh fruits and vegetables, staples, groceries, fresh juice, bars and dairy products.Reliance Fresh was first launched in Hyderabad on 3rd November 2006 . on 24th January 2007 12 fresh outlets opened in Chennai that increased to 40 later on. The store’s size varied from 1,500 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft.
