SUBJECT CODE -- MB0038 1. Describe the concept of vision in an organization with an example. How is it different from mission statement? Meaning of Vision:- An aspirational description of what an organization would like to achieve or accomplish in the mid-term or long-term future. It is intended to serves as a clear guide for choosing current and future courses of action.
Example of Vision:- To find the best examples of vision statements, consider these statement made by Pepsi Co., the world's one of the most innovative and successful company:

Parts of vision:- Collins & Porras in their article “Organizational Vision & Visionary Organization” explain that a vision statement has to have these parts i.e. Core values, Core purposes & The Big Hairy Audacious Goal or BHAG. i. Core values -- Core values are traits or qualities that consider not just worthwhile, it represent an individual's or organization's highest priorities, deeply held beliefs, and core, fundamental driving forces. Core values define what an organization believes and how the organization resonating with and appealing to employees and the external world. ii. Core purposes -- "Core purpose is the organization's fundamental reason for being. When properly conceived, purpose is broad, fundamental and enduring; a good purpose should serve to guide and inspire the organization for years, perhaps a
