COURSE PLAN

A. LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Graduation level basic aptitude with analytic skills and required computing & communication (oral & written) skills coupled with understanding of fundamental business terminologies, interest in current affairs and positive attitude are the prerequisites.

B. OBJECTIVES

a) To understand basic fundamentals and principles of micro and macroeconomics. b) To understand demand, production & cost functions to answer managerial questions. c) To understand various market structures & their characteristics to make Supply / pricing decisions. d) To enhance the prevailing economic and business policy understanding in total and improve its application in business environment. e) To demonstrate how application of economic theory can improve decision making.
