I looked at the 2011 finalists and I reviewed the ideas that where presented. Of the six finalists I can say only one seemed even remotely worth winning. The collage magazine for women seemed a little weak as did the online custom clothing store. There are enough of those kinds of things around if you know where to look and the magazine just seems a little lack luster. The company looking to improve LED lighting is alright I guess but do we really need to fund a new company to improve LED lighting? why dont they just go get a job at an LED manufacturing company and present their ideas to them.

Cascade lasers and applications, sounds fun but I do not see the benifit right now atleast not when compared to the company I am building up to. Decompression vests for autistic children. Seems legit but not really a game changer. People have been working with autistic chiildren for years and in my own personal experience with them I can say a special vest is not going to help things in that front. What sets off autistic children is things that interupt their routine, throw a new peice of clothing into the mix that is not part of their ordinery array and you are looking fit city. Saw it happen alot when we had to put autistic children in their saftey harnesses for transport on the sped. bus. If it was not "Their" harness it turned into a fight.

Those fiv aside I think the renewable jetfule is the way to go, that would be the one I would back as a business. First it is a renweable source of fule which always has its advantages. It could even lead to more breakthroughs in renewable fule for cars, trucks, boats and all other forms of transportation. Second it is jet fule, the single most expencive fule to obtain and produce. This would lower the cost of airline travel which would bring them an influx of business in the process.

Renweable, that is perhapps the best

What I'm proud about in my computer science class is the Verizon app challenge that I did with my group. I picked this artifact because it taught me some levels of computing and working in a group to create ideas for an app. What me and the group was good at throughout creating and Ideas for this app was creating a scenario video, while our weakness was coming up with the topic ,and editing videos. If we had an additional time our group would make the video more visual and realistic to our topic in this case our setting ,and costume. What I know about the video was that there would be an award, but what I didn't know is that they're selected by category. I have not done any similar work about the Verizon App Challenge because it was a one…

Sensory integration therapy improves the daily function of autistic children with sensory processing disorders. For most parents, the goal of rearing a child is for them to become self-sufficient. This goal is even harder to attain when the child is dealing with sensory processing disorder. In an article by Alison Wheeland, she writes about a child that is in occupational therapy because of the difficulties he faces during bathing, dressing, eating and participating in social interactions with his family (Wheeland, 2013). Sensory integration therapy has been shown to enhance the daily function for autistic children. With lesson plans that are disguised as play patients are able to overcome agitation to their daily routine. Wheeland highlights…

Sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures, as in killing a person who is close to you in order to save them from further danger. In Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, two characters, George and Lennie, are best friends. They travel together, and work together. George is faced with a tough decision, and of course he would only do what was best for Lennie. Wouldn’t a friend always do what was best for a friend? George killed Lennie out of mercy, not murder.…

Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Their longtime friend Bernie Marcus donated $25 million to help financially launch the organization. Since then, Autism Speaks has grown into the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for providing help to individuals with autism and their families. Through browsing this webpage, I did not find it contain any bias or hidden agenda. Otherwise, it strives to inform people that individuals have more similarities than differences. The ultimate goal of Autism Speaks is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders. Liz Feld is the President of Autism Speaks, the world’s leading science, research, and advocacy organization for people and families affected by autism. The leadership of Autism Speaks is credible and professional. The web is updated almost every three months so that it evolves with the least research result and the rapidly changing technologies employed on the Internet. All revisions will be posted to the website and the last revised is on June 17, 2013.The sources of information are provided in the category of Resource Guide and Autism Speaks is committed to honoring their constituents’ privacy preferences.…
