Importance of Politics in Our Every Day Life
The Importance of politics in our everyday life can’t be measured by a literal scale but it happens to be needing a thorough analysis to discuss. Though we can say that politics is important in our lives because it somehow affects our society balance. As society changes because of politics, people consider and reconsider how to deal with their own judgement in everyday scale due to consequences given by the politicians that commands their city or municipality. It is an unfortunate common view that politics is unrelated to everyday life. It is related to politicians, legal and official business that the average person knows nothing about, and should not bother with. It’s an unfortunate view because politics is about life. Governments make decisions that affect our everyday life. We all know this, of course. But to what extent do we actually practice it? For a nation to move forward, its people must take their future into their own hands. A nation is a people, an entity, a concept; all of which are about more than a ‘country’ as defined politically, but about us and our lives. To be a patriot is to love yourself and where you came from. And to be politically conscious is to care about your life. When we see politics as something distant, we forget how personal it really is.
When one lives life aware of the importance of politics, aware that every decision has an impact on an entire population, aware that your individual behavior is not the result of just you and those immediately around you, but it is also a result of governance, one can acknowledge why it’s worth fighting for. Once we realize that a better government is not one that would just have the banner of ‘democratically elected’, improve infrastructure here and there and resolve our economic woes, but one that will actively contribute to our everyday life for the better, then maybe we’ll decide that that is something worth fighting for. Because we should be able to democratically elect how we live our

As a mere student, I know I’m not capable of doing things that would create a huge impact in this country, but I know that I can do little things that would surely help or contribute to our society. The greatest contribution that students should give to society is that of ideas. A country can survive in the competitive world through original ideas. The role of student in a society entails various things. Like, to concentrate on studies so that they develop into well-educated individuals that make significant contributions to the society in the future. And to pass on whatever knowledge they have to others. This can take on many forms ranging from helping your siblings to creating awareness about environmental issues such as global warming. Students try to act as responsible adolescents. This means to steer clear of any unlawful activities. It also involves not damaging the society and avoiding acts of vandalism. Students should try and refrain themselves from all such activities for their benefit as well as the society 's. We students should do what they can to protect their environment and society. Students should avoid littering places and should try to invest a few hours into community services if possible. Students should also behave respectfully to the elders of the society and take care of their needs i.e. help an elder to cross a road; stand up and make space for an elder to sit if there is none. Students also contribute to society through the organization of pressure groups especially in situations dealing with the needy and future generations such as the environmental issues. Finally, although students are already doing a significant amount to contribute to society more commitment is needed from the university student body towards the needs of the country.

Every day we will experience the activities and ideas of politics around us, despite not knowing its definition. When the majority consider politics they instantly think of government, laws, debates and scandal. However, the real question of what politics is has been pondered for thousands of years by many profound names, one of the many reasons why Aristotle referred to politics as being the ‘master science’ (Aristotle (unknown) Heywood 2013: 1). Some would say politics dates back to its original meaning of being the art of government. Others believe it to be more focused on public life, or even a way of creating peace between nations or compromise and consensus. Lastly, some would find politics to be seen as a way to gain power, in both a negative and positive aspect. Although despite contrasting views on what politics is, we may only be able to view collectively from each and every concept or angle.…

Politics could be defined very broadly as the adjustment efforts of humans attempting to coexist in an interdependent relationship. In defining a political system, we refer it to a system which is a persistent pattern of human relationships that involves, to a significant extent, power, rule, or authority. Politics concerns about the process in which a government outcomes or decisions on public affairs is made. The course of action or behavior people conduct to influence in the process of negotiation, bargaining and compromising for a political outcome is what we refer as political participation. There are numerous reasons behind one’s participation in politics which may include hoping to achieve one’s aim, running for the office and even simply out of admiration or attraction to a certain political figure which he identify himself to. The motives behind political participation are diverse and numerous and so are the methods and ways people take part in political affairs. A citizen may join a political party, exercise his right to voting in an election, run for the government office, make monetary contribution, attend a political meeting or even join a protest and demonstration.…
