Doing the personal evaluation was harder than I expected it to be. The most effective way for me to learn information is the Auditory Learning Style and Kinesthetic Learning Style. My score was 22% Visual, 50%Auditory and 28% Kinesthetic. As I read the tendencies for both the Auditory and Kinesthetic learning styles I checked each tendency that I do on a daily basis and realized that it’s split down the middle. As I was growing up I had a problem retaining information that I read. I would read a paragraph and forget half of what I read or just lose interest in it, then start over again. My first grade teacher caught on to this. When she would read out loud I wouldn’t have any problems remembering what she said. She gave me two things to try. One was to read out loud and see if I remember the information I just read. Two was to read it then write it down. At times I would write the same thing down up to five times. By doing this I was able to retain the information.…

"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand," Confucius said. When students only hear what is being taught in the classroom, they might be confident that they will remember it just because it seems like simple information, some might remember but a majority of them will eventually forget at some point. When the Teacher or lecturer writes information on the board and explains it, more students might have a better chance at remembering the information because it is set at a visual and auditory viewpoint rather than being only limited to an auditory standpoint. But seeing and hearing alone is not enough when it comes to the educational and academic field, students become unstoppable when they are…

Teachers are by far the single most important profession field in the world. They teach students how to think, how to do math, how to write, how to read and many other important life skills. What would happen if Educators did not exist? We would turn into a country like Ethiopia, one of the top 10 least educated countries in the world. This would be the downfall of our civilization. Teachers aren’t recognized enough for the time and effort they put into their teachings of their classroom. Education is important to any nation that would want its citizens to prosper and pursue a higher stand on education.
