ABSTRACT

This project is about ‘Feasibility Report of Online Super Store in Lahore’. The project is of great importance as this is information technology era. As now a days, people are so much busy in their social dealings that they have no time to visit departmental stores for monthly groceries or buying other commodities. They prefer that the items reach their home through home delivery. The trend of home delivery is increasing. So, catering the needs of people there must be a virtual departmental store in Lahore which provides online retail services to the households and other people that shop by visiting supermarkets. CliCk Mart is a retail store in the Lahore that is providing online retail services to its customers and managing computerized accounting and inventory system. So, in this regard CliCk MarT will have a competitive advantage in the market. The website is designed with the needs of the customers as the focus. The website is built using Microsoft technologies which will provide the flexibility to easily expand products and service offerings in the future. The CliCk MarT will initially host the website with an external web-hosting vendor thus reducing initial start-up cost. At a later date, The CliCk MarT may elect to bring hosting in-house for better support and maintenance.
There are many benefits of online retail business. As far as consumers are concerned the benefits are in terms of concenience and incresed product availability. For entrepreneurs online retail have benefit that there are much lower barriers to entry than traditional retail. Online retail business have advantage that it avoids expensive high street location and can be started with a very limited budget. The requirements are that there must be some stock and your online presence on website. Online superstore is also one of the low risk business in the present scenario. There is no major investment of land and only investment is in sellable

Scans should be frequently done on your server. this will help identify any malicious programs that may be running worms, viruses or Trojan horses. Limited user access will ensure that you know exactly who has access to your ecommerce system and assign each user with unique access authentication method.…
