The objectives of the subject are:
• To expose students to the fundamental concepts of Strategic Management principles and concepts that enable students to become better Executives and Managers. • To understand and explain the Strategic Management Process, with details of Strategic Formulation, Strategic Implementation and Strategic Evaluation.
Subject Learning Outcomes:
At the completion of the subject, students should be able to perform the following tasks: LO 1: Define and describe the basic concept of Strategic Management and issues.(Cognitive, Level 1) LO 2: Analyse the external environment and its impact(Cognitive, Level 4) LO 3: Identify the strategic formulation, implementation and evaluation (Cognitive, Level 4) LO 4: Develop and adapt relevant Strategies for the organization and also apply to Case studies (Cognitive, Level 5)
