Course Objectives and Description

Rapid globalization of economic and financial activities encouraged by continuing liberalization of international trade and investment has broadened the decision horizon of financial managers. International investment strategies and financial decisions should take into account dynamic international market forces and institutional settings. This course will cover essential international finance theories and institutional settings. For efficient coverage of topics, their presentations will be followed by real examples and class discussions. Excel’s charting and statistical routines such as regression, descriptive statistics, and correlation will be used in this course.
