I am applying for the Senior Associate, Term Finance role at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector. I am a British Government Chevening Scholar and a recent MBA Graduate from Manchester Business School in England and have also completed an exchange program with McGill University in Canada.

The ICD, member of the Islamic Development Bank Group, is the multilateral financial institution that supports the private sector in in the member countries through sharia-compliant investments which are economically beneficial and environmentally sustainable. I have a strong passion to help create opportunities and boost economies of the region and you are the ideal institution with which I can translate that passion into ideas and investments with concrete impacts on business and people. You are ideal because in working with you, I can reconcile my strong social awareness with my business acumen.

With over 6 years of banking and private equity with Amen Bank in Tunisia and 2 years of consultancy projects with clients spanning 4 continents during my MBA journey, I am fully confident that I can contribute immediately into your business. As an Analyst, I handled different projects in various sectors in their quest for funding and have developed advanced skills in credit risk analysis, due diligence, and deal structuring. I was able to deliver state of the art credit analysis reports and equity/enterprise valuation models helping the Finance Committee make an informed decision on financing and structuring.

Having performed extremely well in these technical roles, I was soon promoted to a Portfolio Manager role. My responsibilities were broad to encompass origination of new transactions, business negotiation (terms of credits and collaterals mainly) and portfolio management.
