1. The one belief that unites all Christians is the belief in Jesus Christ. Christians believe that the only way to achieve salvation is to believe that Jesus died and rose again in order to save humanity from its sins. Christians believe that Jesus will one day return to earth.
Christians also believe in original sin (all humans are born with sin that was passed down to them from Adam and Eve). Christians believe that there is a heaven and a hell.

2. The death of Jesus was significant because Jesus’s death was the complete and final, once for all sacrifice for the sins of the world. Each spring, millions of people acknowledge Jesus Christ was raised from the dead some twenty centuries ago. Modern society calls it “Easter.” First, the resurrection is one of the major evidences that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Second, Jesus’ resurrection represents an assurance that we can have forgiveness from our sins. Third, the resurrection tells the world that the kingdom of God is ruled by a living sovereign. Fourth, Jesus’ resurrection proves that physical death is not the termination of human existence. Fifth, the Lord’s resurrection previewed the ultimate victory of Christianity over all its enemies.
3. For Christians and the church the Holy Spirit lives inside the Christian and guides the actions of those who desire His presence. The Spirit empowers the believer to step outside his comfort zone to do extraordinary acts of faith for God. Being filled with the Spirit involves transforming their minds to the mind of Christ as we engage in spiritual activities. Walking in the Spirit leads to a sense of peace and joy. Violating their conscience through acts of disobedience leads to a loss of filling by the Holy Spirit, which takes away their joy and peace.
