Case Study 2

Introduction
This case study is designed to give you an opportunity to apply the concepts outlined in Module 6 Leading and implementing strategy. The facts of this case build on those in the Chasseur Chickens Pty Ltd case study, but now it has been acquired by a major US company, Notting Foods Inc. This part of the case study pertains to that acquisition and the implementation of the integration plan for the two companies. You should also make reference to the Chasseur Chickens Pty Ltd case study facts, where appropriate, in responding to this part of the case. At the end of the case study, you are asked to attempt and complete case study tasks to assess your ability to analyse the case and apply the theoretical principles of strategy implementation and leadership to the facts of the case. What is of importance in your response to the tasks is your knowledge of the leadership concepts and how they are applied to the case facts. Your personal assessment of the facts and/or the decisions made by the company to date are often not relevant. It is important to ensure that your answer contains some reference to the relevant theoretical concepts considered in the study materials. Note: The case facts in this case study incorporate characters and events that are completely fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons and events is purely coincidental.
