Many movies are based on books, and in many stories the books are more detailed. There could be many differences between a book and a movie. These differences could impact the audience’s point of view. There are many differences between the book Animal Farm, and the movie, that impact the audience by changing their perspective of the book. There are many changes in the movie, but the two major changes are, the song Beasts of England, and the death of old Major. First, in the book Animal Farm Beasts of England is a song that makes the animals rebel against the humans. This song was first introduced when old Major gave his speech. This song in the book is in chapter 1, page 13. These are some lines from the song: “Soon and late the day are coming, Tyrant Man shall be overthrown, and the fruitful fields of EnglandShall are trod by beasts alone. For that day we all must labour, though we die before it break; Cows and horses, geese and turkeys, All must toil for freedom's sake.” This song Beasts of England has a really magnificent effect on the animals, and influences them on to rebel. On the other side, in the movie the song has been changed to Beasts of the world and has a really low impact on the animals. This song was first sung by old Major during his speech. This in the movie is in 14:00 minute past. The song Beasts of the world is only sang one time in the movie and it has a low impact on the animals. Therefore, the changing of the song has a huge effect on the animals and changes the perspective of the audience by telling them the song is really not that important. This matters because, in the book the author might be trying to say that the song Beast of England is a song of the rebellion, but the change could change the entire idea by showing the song is nothing to the animals, that the song does not matter to them.
